WILDE WOMEN PROJECT

This collection of drawings came to life during the 2020 COVID pandemic. Life changed suddenly. I moved in with my parents and my throat chakra closed up. I didn’t feel like making music so I directly all my creative energy into drawing. Each week, I painted a little woman, composed a 1 minute song for her and wrote a piece of prose. Each woman represented a feeling I was processing, a sliver of myself I hoped other women around the world would relate to, something we were all longing for…freedom, confidence, solitude, spaciousness, safety. I also created a few “behind the scenes” videos showing off my creative process behind this project. These days, the universe is teaching me to go with the flow and let go of any pressure I have to feel consistent, to hold myself hostage to a strict brand or marketing strategy or whatever. It's better to just change as it feels right and evolve step by step. Who cares if there is a lot of change. The change actually feels REALLY good...WAY better than sticking rigid and forcing something to stay the same. change. change. change. I want change all the time it seems. Every day, a different Wilde Woman flows out of me onto paper and sings me a message in my mind. God, there is so much happening inside me it's insane. ;)
